ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

Ons's Story

From Tunisia to the global stage of Grand Slam finals, Ons Jabeur's journey is one of resilience, talent, and trailblazing spirit. Nicknamed the "Minister of Happiness" for her joyful presence on and off the court, Ons has broken barriers as the first Arab and African woman to reach a Grand Slam final and achieve a top-5 world ranking.
Ons began playing tennis at the age of 3, driven by passion and guided by unwavering family support. Her career blossomed despite limited resources, making her a symbol of hope for aspiring athletes across the region. Her rise is not only a personal triumph but a statement for girls, women, and young dreamers everywhere: your origin should never limit your ambition.
In 2024, she founded the Ons Jabeur Foundation to give back to the communities that shaped her. Her mission is to empower women and children, especially those from underserved areas, by providing access to sports, education, and life-changing opportunities.
